Do Eastern Wild Turkeys Fly?

That's one thing that makes wild turkeys different than their domestic relatives; they can and do fly. Domestic turkeys were bred to produce the most meat possible, explaining why they have larger breasts. A downfall of that is it sacrifices their ability to fly. Even though domestic turkeys can suspend themself in the air for very short periods of time, our wild turkeys can easily fly.
